End of Term 4

Just like that,
Term 4 came and went in a whirlwind.

What an extraordinary year it has been. I could not have asked for a better class and it is bittersweet that the year is coming to an end. Sweet because I am very excited for the students and the adventures lay ahead. Bitter because I am incredibly sad to see them leave. I wish all of you the best of luck in whatever the future holds for you.

Term 4 Overview

We started the term off with the Student Fete.

We nearly lost track of time as we had to ride off to Kalgoorlie for the Year 6 Camp.

Once we were back from camp, we dove head first into swimming lessons.

Following swimming we were in Graduation Lunch and Graduation Practice mode. We also had our Transition Day at Lesmurdie Senior High School, what a day that was.

Week 8 we had our Graduation and Year 6 Dance night. What an amazing night that was. It was a hot one but that did not stop the students from tearing up the dance floor. Once the Graduation chaos concluded we started having our Year 6 Health talks with the nurse.

Plans for the rest of the term:

  • Wednesday morning (11/12) is our Super Scientist Winner Presentations with our Growth and Development Class later that day from 11:40 - 12:30.
  • Thursday afternoon we will have our last Growth and Development Class from 1:15 - 2:05
  • This Friday will be our final whole school assembly for the presentation of the Principal’s Challenge Awards, School Board Awards, Specialist Awards and the presenting of the Year 6 Graduating Students.
